Q1. What’s the wholesale price for tulips in Singapore?
Our standard wholesale price for Holland tulips fr $20.00 inc. GST per bundle of 10 stems. There is no separate “trade price” — the price you see is the price everyone pays.
Q2. Do I need a trade account to buy wholesale tulips?
No. Every customer pays the same wholesale price — florists, hotels, event teams, walk-in retail buyers, DIY brides. No application, no membership, no trade-card gate. Walk in or order online.
Q3. What’s the minimum order for tulips?
One bundle of 10 stems. There is no minimum order quantity at DWF.
Q4. Are Holland tulips available year-round in Singapore?
Yes, through Dutch greenhouse production. The peak natural-season tulip months are March–May, when Aalsmeer’s outdoor farms come into production. The other months rely on year-round greenhouse cultivation. Quality and colour range stay consistent across the year.
Q5. Why do tulips have shorter vase life than roses or hydrangeas?
Because tulips are still alive after cutting in a way other flowers aren’t — they continue to grow, drink, and bloom in the vase. That biology gives you the dramatic opening that tulips are loved for, but caps total vase life at 5–7 days. Expect them to be fully open by day 3 and starting to relax by day 5.
Q6. Can I order specific tulip colours for a wedding?
Yes. For weddings and large events, WhatsApp us at +65 8845 8888 at least 7 days before delivery. We confirm specific colours with our Dutch supplier on Sunday for the Tuesday flight, so 7-day lead time gives us full booking flexibility.
Q7. Why are tulips sold in 10-stem bundles instead of 12?
Standard Dutch wholesale packaging convention. They sell tulips in 10-stem bundles, so that’s how they arrive at our cold room. Those who want odd counts (e.g. 12 for a specific bouquet) typically buy 2 bundles and combine.

Flower Packaging
These are imported fresh produce sold in the original packaging (flowers with thorns/leaves) by farmers worldwide, there may be broken stems due to the shipment handling from the source country. As such, please buffer 10% for damage/spoilage for your flower order/ planning.
Non-Refundable Items
For perishable products, NO REFUND/ REPLACEMENT will be allowed once delivery has been ACCEPTED.

Care & Handling
TULIP CARE – BE WARY OF THE ONLY FLOWER THAT CONTINUES TO GROW
Three things that make tulips stand tall.
Tulips are the only type of cut flowers that continue to grow even after being placed in the vase. In the first few days, tulips can grow an additional 2-4cm. Tulips bend towards light, consume twice their body weight in water, and droop significantly if not handled properly. Here are three tips for keeping your tulips erect.
Tip 1 – Cut the stem at 45° angle, use cold water only
Cut the stems at a 45° angle and place them in a vase filled only with cold water. Don’t use any floral preservative or warm water for tulips since they are used to growing in cold European springs. The colder the water is, the longer tulips will stay erect without falling apart.
Tip 2 – Wrap the bundle in paper for an hour
When delivered, tulips are usually quite limp because of the cold chain delivery process. To revive them, wrap the whole bunch tightly in a newspaper or kraft paper (leaving only the stems and bottom leaves wrapped in paper, keep the head of the tulip uncovered) and let it stand in the cold water for an hour.
Tip 3 – Rotate the vase daily
Tulips are known for their ability to bend towards light. Rotate the vase daily to ensure that the heads of tulips remain pointing in one direction. If you fail to do that, by the fourth day, all the stems in your vase will point in one direction.
