WHOLESALE BABY BREATH SINGAPORE

Baby breath. Million stars per bundle. Sold by the gram.

The most-used filler flower in Singapore floristry — and the most-stocked at our cold room. Imported weekly from Ecuador (the premium Million Star and Xlence varieties grown at altitude), China (everyday workhorse pricing), and Israel (specialty tinted varieties for events).

Sold by weight, not by stem count — 250g or 750g bundles — because baby breath is volumetric. A 750g bundle is a wheelbarrow of tiny white blooms.

One wholesale price for everyone — florists, hotels, event teams, DIY brides, weekend retail. No trade card. No minimum order. No application.

SHOP BABY BREATH BY ORIGIN

Three countries. Each gives you different density.

Ecuador for the premium Million Star and Xlence varieties — altitude-grown at 2,800m for the densest sprays and the longest vase life. China for everyday filler at the lowest wholesale price tier. Israel for the specialty tinted rainbow, blue, pink, and purple sprays that have become a signature of modern Singapore floristry.

BABY BREATH CARE — MAKE IT LOOK FRESH FOR 2 WEEKS

Three things to avoid the dusty look.

Baby breath lasts long enough – but the appearance that repels consumers ("dusty," "yellowing," "drooping") is not the result of the flower's death. These are minor handling errors that become evident only after 5 days.

1 — Re-cut and split the stems

The stems of baby breath measure between 60-80 cm and are dense and woody at the base. Just re-cutting the stems at a standard 45° angle is insufficient. To increase water intake and prevent premature wilting after just 3 days, split the base of each stem vertically by 2cm using sharp scissors.

2 — Strip the base aggressively

Baby breath has thick foliage close to the ground, which decomposes in water after 48 hours and taints the water in the vase. Remove all foliage or florets from the bottom 10cm of the stems prior to inserting into water. Yes, this may seem drastic. But yes, this is necessary. You are selling the spray at the top, while the foliage is destroying it.

3 — Cool, dry, indirect light

Baby breath continues to bloom even after being placed in water. Therefore, what you sleeve today will appear fuller by day 3. Ensure that the arrangements are kept cool and under indirect sunlight – direct sunlight causes yellowing and faster browning. Baby breath can withstand aircon drafts, unlike hydrangea. But the heat from windows kills it.

WHOLESALE BABY BREATH SINGAPORE — FAQ

Q1. What is the wholesale price for baby breath in Singapore?

The standard wholesale price for our Ecuador Million Star baby breath in Singapore starts from $40.00 inc. GST per 750g bundle. China baby breath is priced from $25.00 per 750g bundle. Israeli tinted varieties are priced from $45.00 per 750g bundle. Smaller 250g bundles are also available at proportional prices. There is no special trade price for baby breath.

Q2. Do I need a trade account to buy wholesale baby breath?

No, all customers pay the same wholesale price, whether they are florists, hoteliers, event planners, walk-in shoppers or DIY brides. There is no membership program, trade card or application process.

Q3. What is the minimum order for baby breath?

Minimum order is just one 250g baby breath bundle. At DWF, there is no minimum order quantity for any item.

Q4. Why is baby breath sold by weight instead of stem count?

It is because baby breath is a volumetric product. In one single bundle, there are hundreds of tiny florets across dozens of multi-headed stems, so stem count would make no sense. Weight is a much more reliable indicator of how many arrangements one can make.

Q5. What is the difference between Million Star and Xlence?

Both are top-end Ecuador varieties. Million Star is the original baby breath variety with slightly looser spray and the typical baby-breath look. Xlence is a newer variety with a more compact floret formation and sturdier stem structure. Xlence is the preferred choice of most modern wedding florists in Singapore due to better performance in high temperatures.

Q6. How long does baby breath last in a vase?

10-14 days is among the longest vase life among cut flowers that we carry. The secret is to apply stem splitting and base stripping techniques (see our care guide above). With good care, baby breath will continue opening and looking fresh throughout the first 7 days after purchase, and then stay fresh for another 5-7 days.

Q7. Can I get baby breath in specific colours for my event?

Yes, Israeli growers offer tinted varieties of baby breath in rainbow, blue, pink, purple, turquoise and red. Send us your request via WhatsApp at +65 8845 8888 at least 5 days before the delivery date to confirm the availability of the required tint. Tinted varieties have a limited shelf life at the supplier level, therefore, we order them according to confirmed customer demand.

Q8. When is fresh baby breath restocked?

Weekly air freight deliveries from Quito (Ecuador), Kunming (China) and Tel Aviv (Israel). Ecuador Million Star and Xlence are our most stable suppliers, available throughout the year. Chinese supply is seasonal. Israeli tinted varieties are ordered upon request.
